France








Did you know that France is home to brown bears and wolves, or that the French invented a predecessor to the Internet, which is called the Minitel?

One of France's most spectacular château, said to have inspired such a jealous rage in King Louis XIV that he imprisoned its owner, Nicolas Fouquet and had its architect, decorator and garden designer hired to build Versailles.
